We are NOT a FRANCHISE. We’re locally family owned in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California serving parts of Placer and Nevada Counties. Our service area varies, but is centralized from Nevada City / Grass Valley through Auburn, down to Granite Bay / Loomis, back up to Colfax and beyond. With limited service dates in Truckee and Lake Tahoe.

Steam Team was founded in 2007 in Auburn, California by a local Cal Fire Captain. Steve was looking for a side business while he wasn’t fighting fires or helping the local community with emergency services. The business grew fast and Steve needed help, so he convinced his brother-in-law Dan to apply his multiple college degrees and become a professional steam cleaner. Which Dan happily did in exchange for the freedom of being a small business owner!
Steve is now happily retired and living the good life in Truckee/Tahoe. And Dan has taken over as the full time owner operator of Steam Team.
